You see the World Differently on a bike. Berger Hardware Bikes is committed to bringing cycling as a way of life to as many people as humanly possible. We are equally passionate about cycling as a sport, as a mode of transportation, and as a recreation. We offer coaching/training and exercises prescription, as well as custom bicycle fitting and sales. In addition, BHB has a robust and active road and cyclocross team, based in Raleigh, NC but active in Austin, TX, Boston, MA and Ohio. The team races together, but also engages in community events to bring awareness to cycling. We also hold a variety of community events and races which are held regularly in Raleigh, NC.

 

Cross Central NC 2023. Thanks for your support over the years. What a wild time this CX Central season brought us. Thanks for supporting the race and doing all the good things you do, like bringing can food for Interfaith Food Shuttle and donating to local charities, high schools and HBCUs. For our Finale, we’ve transitioned to a self guided Time Trial event at SAU. Rules for qualifying for overall Prizes:

  • You must participate in 8 of the 10 scheduled races (or 7 of 9 if your race was canceled during the lightning show that was race 1). 

  • You must be present at the final race of the series to receive your reward. 

  • Points earned towards overall are good for the overall standing in the race the points were earned.

  • Race 8 is worth 3x points 

  • In the case of a tie. the higher place will be awarded based on the following measures:

    • Rider with the most number of 1st place finishes

      •  (If equal), rider with the most number of 2nd place finishes, etc.

      •  (If identical placings), the rider who finished best in the last race where at least one of the tied riders finished.
